Become an ACC Performer

The American Caroling Company is always looking for exceptional performers to join our teams across the country.

ACC carolers, musicians, and character performers are professional singers and actors who bring warmth, musicianship, and theatrical energy to holiday and seasonal events. Our performers entertain at everything from luxury hotels and corporate events to city festivals, private celebrations, and major productions for Fortune 500 companies and professional sports teams.

We are seeking performers who have:

Strong a cappella singing ability and excellent musicianship
A warm, engaging stage presence
Professional reliability and a collaborative spirit
The ability to learn music quickly and perform confidently in small ensembles
Experience in vocal performance, musical theatre, or choral singing

ACC performers are part of a nationally respected team known for beautiful harmonies, polished presentations, and memorable guest experiences.

If you’re a talented vocalist or instrumentalist who loves bringing music to life, or an actor who loves connecting with audiences, we’d love to hear from you.

Who Thrives at ACC

ACC performers tend to share a few common traits. You’ll likely thrive on our teams if you:

Love performing close-harmony a cappella music
Are comfortable interacting with audiences in a theatrical, immersive setting
Enjoy working in small professional ensembles
Take pride in punctuality, preparation, and professionalism
Can learn music or roles quickly and perform confidently with limited rehearsal
Bring a positive, collaborative attitude to every event

Our performers often come from backgrounds in musical theatre, professional vocal groups, choral ensembles, opera, and vocal jazz.

Many ACC performers also enjoy the flexibility of performance work that fits alongside careers in theatre, teaching, music direction, and other creative fields.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do they arrive in costume, or do they change on-site?Leigh Silverstein2026-03-13T17:05:52+00:00

Do they arrive in costume, or do they change on-site?

Most of our performers arrive in costume, ready to go. Obviously, masked characters like the Grinch and inflatable characters like Olaf cannot arrive in costume and will need a place to change on site.

Is there a minimum booking rate?Leigh Silverstein2026-03-13T17:05:33+00:00

Is there a minimum booking rate?

Yes. 45 minutes is the lowest amount of time we will book. Performers can entertain for less than that amount of time if needed for your event, but the price will be the same as our 45-minute rate.

How far will you guys travel?Leigh Silverstein2026-03-13T17:05:16+00:00

How far will you guys travel?

For the right price, we’ll go anywhere! Events within a 50-mile radius of any of our 20 regional city headquarters do not incur any travel fees. Events outside of that radius will incur travel fees, generally at a rate of $.75 per mile for the group.

Are there parking specifications?Leigh Silverstein2026-03-13T17:04:58+00:00

Are there parking specifications?

Clients must provide free parking or parking reimbursement for all performers.

Are the performances continuous or do they take breaks?Leigh Silverstein2026-03-13T17:04:37+00:00

Are the performances continuous or do they take breaks?

All performances longer than an hour will include break(s) for the performers. Our general rule is 50 minutes on, 10 minutes off every hour; however, we’re happy to work with your event planner to break when it makes most sense for your program or crowd flow. Events longer than 4 hours must include a 30-minute meal break for performers.

Can the performers entertain outdoors?Leigh Silverstein2026-03-13T17:03:38+00:00

Can the performers entertain outdoors?

We need to know ahead of time if there will be any outside performing, so the performers can layer under their costumes accordingly. For the health and safety of our performers, and to retain the integrity of our gorgeous costumes, we never work in active precipitation without cover, and must have special permission from the performers to work in temperatures below 35F.

How are the performers dressed?Leigh Silverstein2026-03-13T17:03:13+00:00

How are the performers dressed?

Carolers perform all events in full Victorian costume unless otherwise requested. We also offer holiday sweaters and cocktail attire as costume options.
